Which Beatle are you?  It’s not always an easy question to answer. Your Inner Beatle controls not only your relationships, habits, and behaviors, but also part of your destiny.  Being in touch with your Beatle Sign is integral for any type of meaningful personal development.  
           
Below you will find an excerpt from the “I am the Walrus” quiz found in Beatleology, the book.  Use these questions to help you determine which Beatle you, in fact, “are.”

  1. You’ve captured a suspected terrorist.  He knows when an imminent terrorist attack will occur, but will only reveal the information through painful torture.  Would you torture him? 
    1. Yes. It might secretly be enjoyable.
    2. Yes.  First of all, he’s a terrorist and deserves to be tortured.  Secondly, by torturing him, I will get information that can save lives.  Not doing so would mean the death of others.
    3. If he’s only a suspected terrorist, he might also just be an innocent person.  How can I be sure he really knows something about an imminent attack?  I’m just not 100% sure.
    4. Couldn’t somebody else, like Jack Bauer, do this? 
  1. Lying.  
    1. I lie all the time.  Lying can save other people’s feelings and save my butt. 
    2. I try not to lie, but sometimes it’s unavoidable.  Little white lies are okay.
    3. Omission isn’t technically lying.  I’ll lie to save people’s feelings and cover my ass at work.
    4. Since I often speak off the cuff, I rarely tell little white lies. 
  1. What is God like?
    1. God is very much human.  He is imperfect, but also has positive traits such as humor.
    2. I see God as a stoic person who created us in our own image.  He is upset when we sin.  
    3. God is more of a force or idea.  I don’t see God as a literal person. 
    4. God is whatever you want him to be.

Scoring

It’s simple.  Add up the number of “A,” “B,” “C,” and “D” answers you marked on the quiz.  The most frequent letter you marked corresponds to your Beatle Sign.  If you have vastly more answers of one letter than the rest, you are closer to a “true,” or “pure” sign.
